About this opportunity
The Department of the Army's Joint Interagency Task Force 401 issued a Commercial Solutions Opening under DFARS Subpart 212-70 authority to competitively procure Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) solutions through December 31, 2028, with no set-aside restriction. Awards will be structured as fixed-price contracts under FAR Part 12 Commercial Procedures or non-FAR agreements including 10 U.S.C. 4022 transactions and 31 U.S.C. 6305 cooperative agreements.
JIATF 401 seeks commercial products, commercial services, non-developmental items, concept demonstrations, pilots, and agile development activities to detect, track, identify, and defeat malicious or unauthorized sUAS operations domestically and abroad. The CSO employs a three-phase competitive process: Phase 1 solution briefs (maximum five single-spaced pages, 12-point font, no payment to submitters); Phase 2 presentations and demonstrations (by invitation); and Phase 3 Commercial Solution Proposals (submitted in separate technical and price volumes).
Active Areas of Interest include AoI 26-001 (Mobile C-sUAS systems), AoI 26-002 (Fixed-Site C-sUAS capability), AoI 26-003 (Command and Control interoperability), AoI 26-005 (Rapid Acquisition Division Comptroller financial and analytical support services), and AoI 26-006 (Joint C-sUAS Mobile Training Team services requiring active SECRET clearances). White paper submissions for AoI 26-005 and AoI 26-006 are due June 26, 2026, at 1500 EDT.
Prospective offerors must obtain a Unique Entity ID, register in SAM.gov, and be determined responsible and non-debarred. All submissions must be unclassified and sent electronically to usarmy.jiatf401cso@army.mil. The Government reserves the right to award to all, some, or none of proposed solutions and may cancel the CSO at any time.
