About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Air Mobility Command is seeking Architect-Engineer (A-E) services to repair the HVAC systems in two facilities at Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota. The A-E will be required to perform field reconnaissance, studies, site investigations, and preliminary design meetings to produce contract documents. For each building (607 and 314), the A-E must provide three distinct project scope options, including cost estimates and analyses, to address the HVAC problems. After the Air Force selects one option per building, the A-E will prepare a design-build solicitation package. The evaluation criteria prioritize geographic proximity, capacity to complete the work on time, specialized experience, past performance, and professional qualifications. Responses are due by May 8, 2024, and the anticipated award is in June/July 2024 for a period of performance through October/November 2024.
This is a total small business set-aside procurement, with no incumbent small business contractor. The NAICS code is 541330 (Engineering Services) and the PSC is C111 (Architectural and Engineering Services). There is no specified award value or budget range provided in the pre-solicitation notice.
