The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 is seeking comprehensive maintenance and certification services for Draeger anesthesia devices at Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. The contract requires the provision of preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and certification services with all labor, transportation, and parts supplied by the contractor to meet VA acceptability standards. Qualified contractors must be Draeger-trained and certified field service engineers capable of providing 24/7 emergency repair services and performing maintenance during extended business hours, using only Draeger-sourced parts and providing comprehensive documentation. The evaluation will prioritize socio-economic status determinations, with preference given to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), followed by Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses (SB), contingent upon receiving sufficient qualified responses from each category. This Sources Sought Notice is posted for market research and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or promise of future procurement; interested parties must submit capability statements demonstrating authorized servicing capabilities by November 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM EDT.

The contract encompasses maintenance services for 24 anesthesia machines, specifically 6 Draeger Fabius TIRO units and 18 Draeger Persius A500 units, along with 69 vaporizers located at Bay Pines and Cape Coral, Florida facilities. The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price agreement with one base year and two option years, commencing December 5, 2025, and concluding December 4, 2026. No incumbent contractor or specific award value has been disclosed in the notice. If insufficient responses are received from small business categories, an unrestricted solicitation may be issued to all qualified vendors regardless of socio-economic status.
