About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the Great Lakes Acquisition Center at the Department of Veterans Affairs announces intent to award a sole source contract to Carestream Health, Inc. for corrective and preventative maintenance services for three radiation fluoroscopy systems at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. Interested vendors must provide written notification by November 29th demonstrating ability to meet requirements as an authorized distributor by submitting OEM documentation showing distributor status, ability to purchase parts, and certification of technical personnel.

The Notice seeks to procure maintenance services for specific equipment from an authorized distributor while allowing other contractors until the 29th to establish they can meet requirements. Responses will be considered for a potential competitive procurement, though sole source award to Carestream remains an option absent any responses deemed to satisfy the capability demonstration requested by the deadline. Eligible contractors must submit required documentation by the due date and technical qualifications will be evaluated, with determination of competition at the agency's discretion.
