The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 8, is conducting a sources-sought market research survey to identify qualified contractors for replacement of a Manufactured Odorless Pump Station (MOPS) sewage grinder and control panel at Lee County VA Medical Clinic in Cape Coral, Florida, with responses due by July 1, 2026, 1:00 PM EST. The procurement is anticipated to be set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business if two or more qualified responses meeting all required information are received by the deadline.
The work requires direct replacement of a Task Master Model TM8512 sewage grinder with an 8" x 12" cutting chamber and associated IP68 explosion-proof 5HP 460v 3-phase motor, plus installation of a NEMA 4X Model S25060 fiberglass control panel with IEC starters, PLC logic controls, and smart sensing auto-reversal programming. Contractor must remove and dispose of existing equipment, route new motor and control leads, terminate leads to the new control panel, and test system operation in both manual and automatic modes. Work is performed during clinic hours (Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM EST, same hours weekends and federal holidays) with minimal disruption to patient care. Period of performance is 90 days, firm fixed price. NAICS 238220, PSC J046. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to fulfill a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 08- is conducting a market research survey to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing roof cleaning and minor repairs at a firm-fixed-price for the Lee County VA Medical Clinic. The clinic requires a Manufactured Odorless Pump Station (MOPS) Sewage Grinder to be replaced along with the control panel that operates the MOPS system. (See attached Statement of Need)
