About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (NCO 21) is soliciting capability information from contractors to provide elevator inspection services at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). The scope includes semi-annual, annual, and five-year inspections conducted in compliance with ASME A17.1 and A17.2 standards, NFPA codes, OSHA requirements, and other applicable regulations. Qualified contractors must be ASME/NAESA-certified elevator inspectors with a minimum of five years of certified experience, and subcontracting is not permitted. No Solicitation is currently available.

All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors, and the small business size standard is $22M Million.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is soliciting information from contractors that can provide Inspection services for the VA Palo Alto Health Care Service (VAPAHCS). A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.
