About this opportunity

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is conducting market research for an integrated IPTV and Digital Signage solution to serve its Alexandria campus and potential regional locations. The procurement involves a comprehensive technical solution with two primary components: a digital signage system (29+ endpoints) and an optional IPTV streaming service. Key requirements include high-definition displays, interactive capabilities, emergency notification features, and the ability to interface with existing monitors, including non-smart televisions. The RFI requires vendors to submit five-page capability statements by 9:00 am EST on March 18, 2025, with vendor questions accepted until March 7, 2025. Vendors must provide details about their GSA schedules, SAM.gov registration, NAICS codes, small business status, and Section 508 compliance, with the USPTO potentially using this market research to determine future small business set-aside opportunities.

The contract is not currently set aside for any specific business category and will have a one-year base period from June 30, 2025, to June 29, 2026, with potential four one-year option periods extending through June 30, 2030. The solution must be Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant and preferably FedRamp approved, with potential for expansion to regional locations including Silicon Valley, Detroit, Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and New Hampshire. While specific award values are not disclosed, the contract will cover installation, decommissioning, equipment repair, systems administration training, and maintenance support across approximately 29+ endpoint locations. The vendor must provide 24-hour response capabilities with next-day dispatch, centralized device management, and a project manager who can respond to USPTO concerns within one business day. Pricing will include Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) options for equipment replacement and potential endpoint expansion, suggesting flexibility for future growth and technological upgrades.
