The contract will cover a broad range of maintenance, repair, and construction work including carpentry, asbestos abatement, demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and painting projects. Bids will be evaluated using a coefficient-based pricing method to determine the total evaluated price, with the government intending to award to the three lowest-priced, responsive, and responsible bidders. The performance locations include Vandenberg Space Force Base and associated sites such as Pillar Point Air Force Station, Point Mugu, and the Santa Ynez Peak and Anderson Peak Optical Tracking Stations. The total contract ceiling is $60 million, with individual task orders expected to range from $2,000 to $5,000,000 and a minimum guarantee of $2,000 per contract. The contract structure includes a base year from November 18, 2024, to November 17, 2025, with the potential for up to four additional one-year option periods.
