About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has issued a Special Notice for Internal Contractor Support Services (iCSS), targeting Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) contractors in the Engineering Services sector. The notice focuses on a pre-solicitation conference scheduled for January 28, 2025, which will be conducted virtually through Microsoft TEAMs. Interested contractors must complete a registration document to receive the meeting link, with strict instructions that the link cannot be forwarded to unauthorized parties. The solicitation is associated with contract number N6134025R0004-0003 and falls under NAICS category 541330 for Engineering Services. The agency will be tracking participant registration carefully and will remove any unauthorized attendees from the conference.
Contractors interested in participating must follow specific procedures to engage with this opportunity. To attend the virtual pre-solicitation conference, companies must submit a completed registration form to Michael Yucht and Fernando Cerpa-Rondon via their Navy email addresses, providing company details such as CAGE code, UEI code, and WOSB status. All questions related to the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) must be submitted by January 30, 2025, using the provided Attachment L-1 iCSS Solicitation Question and Answer Form. The Navy has also highlighted anticipated changes to the draft RFP, including moving the Joint Venture agreement requirement from a gate check to Volume 3: Price/Cost Proposal and correcting a typographical error on page 95 from "FPR" to "PBR". The opportunity is specifically set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses, providing a targeted procurement avenue for qualifying firms in the engineering services sector.
