About this opportunity

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) software solution to manage its extensive 18 million square feet of facilities and 570 acres of land. The agency seeks vendors with a minimum of 10 years of experience implementing IWMS solutions for federal agencies, Department of Defense, or large university facilities, with proven capability to handle complex enterprise asset management requirements. Key requirements include computerized maintenance management, space utilization, GIS compatibility, work order processing, resource management, financial planning, robust analytics, and FedRAMP certification for any proposed platform. Vendors must demonstrate experience managing facilities of similar scale and must submit comprehensive responses limited to 25 pages that include company background, customer references, product overview, implementation approach, support details, and rough order of magnitude cost estimates. The submission deadline is June 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST, with responses to be submitted electronically to Tim Nyberg at tim.nyberg@aoc.gov.

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is classified under NAICS code 541512 for Computer Systems Design Services. The system is currently supporting 1,400 users with plans to expand to 1,800 users, and must be capable of managing space utilization for 20,000-30,000 people while processing over 50,000 work orders monthly. The AOC anticipates supporting over 3,800 end-users through the system, including 1,300 field agents, 200 dispatchers, 200 service desk agents, 15 power users, and 100 asset managers. No specific budget range or award value has been disclosed in the documentation, and no incumbent contractors are identified. This is strictly a market research initiative and does not constitute a formal solicitation, with no guarantee of future procurement opportunities.
