About this opportunity
The Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought Request (SSR) regarding maintenance and logistics support services for the Integrated Logistics Division, with responses due by October 28, 2026. This is a market research activity only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation.
CBP's Integrated Logistics Division operates a 24/7 Maintenance Dispatch Center that coordinates maintenance and repair services across multiple domestic and international CBP sites supporting technology systems critical to border protection, terrorism prevention, and contraband interdiction. The Maintenance Dispatch Center records all service requests in ServiceNow and MAXIMO databases and issues maintenance requests to support CBP's deployed infrastructure.
The RFI template targets vendors capable of providing corrective and preventative maintenance on Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment, along with stakeholder reporting incorporating key performance indicators and dashboards. Respondents must confirm capability to perform all required services, specify subcontracting needs, provide time-to-performance estimates, and recommend applicable Service Level Agreements. The opportunity is classified under NAICS 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC DE01 (IT and Telecom Help Desk and Workspace Support). Respondents should provide up to three past performance references demonstrating similar contract experience and confirm GSA contract applicability and relevant business certifications. No set-aside is anticipated.

This announcement does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise that a solicitation or procurement will be issued. This is not a solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bids (IFB). As a component of the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is responsible for protecting our Nation’s borders in order to prevent terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering the U.S. while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel. CBP is also responsible for apprehending individuals attempting to enter the U.S. illegally; stemming the flow of drugs and other contraband; protecting our agricultural and economic interests from harmful pests and diseases; protecting American business from theft of their intellectual property; and regulating and facilitating international trade, collecting import duties, and enforcing U.S. trade laws.
In support of this responsibility CBP has implemented and deployed numerous technology systems across the U.S. and internationally that require systems administration and maintenance services. ILD manages a 24/7 Maintenance Dispatch Center for maintenance activities. The Maintenance Dispatch Center (MDC) initially responds to service calls from the numerous CBP sites. The Maintenance Dispatch Center staff record the calls for service in the CBP databases ServiceNow and Integrated Logistics Support System, i.e., MAXIMO). Maintenance Dispatch Center staff issue requests for repair or maintenance services to the Contractor in the form of a Work Order (WO) that initiates the maintenance request. The Contractor responds to the CBP sites, effects repair or completes maintenance actions, and provides periodic status updates and Work Completion Forms (WCF) to the Maintenance Dispatch Center based on the provided requirements contained in this Performance Work Statement.
