Update #3 · Latest ·

The general scope of work includes transportation services encompassing barge delivery and placement of 46,000 tons of riprap, and 12,000 sq yards of geotextile fabric for bank stabilization on the Cumberland River adjacent to Riverside Drive in Clarksville, TN. The placement is to be accomplished from the river. Peripheral tasks include limited excavation, clearing and grubbing; with debris and excavated material removed via barge.

The project is on the right descending bank of Cumberland River alongside Riverside Drive downstream of Liberty Park in Clarksville, Tennessee (Montgomery County). The main purpose of this project is to prevent the failure of a section of Riverside Drive (US 41A Bypass), adjacent utilities, and the Old Waterworks Building being threatened by erosion.

The Government has scheduled a Site Visit for this requirement. An organized site visit is scheduled for 13 August 2015, 1:00 PM local time (Central Time Zone). Participants will meet at: Old Waterworks Building parking lot, 808 South Riverside Drive, Clarksville, TN 37040 for the organized Site Visit.

Questions concerning the IFB should be submitted to J.W. Purcell via email at James.W.Purcell@usace.army.mil
