About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Headquarters District Washington has issued a Special Notice for an Industry/Demonstration Day event focused on Publicly Available Information (PAI) Alerting Services. Scheduled for March 25-26, 2025, at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, the event is open to all businesses, with specific encouragement for small businesses to participate. The event will include a requirement briefing by AFDW/PK and HAF/A2-6, with 30 slots available for the briefing and 10 slots for one-on-one presentations. Participation is limited to two vendor representatives per registration, and slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Base access requires a state or federally issued photo ID for guests 18 and older.

Interested contractors must email the point of contact by 2 PM EST on March 14, 2025, specifying their interest in the requirement briefing, one-on-one presentations, or both, and indicating whether base sponsorship is needed. One-on-one sessions are strictly limited to demonstrating PAI alerting tools, with each session lasting a maximum of 50 minutes. Vendors must submit a company background paper including their CAGE/UEI number, socioeconomic status, and existing contract vehicles. The government seeks a solution that can leverage various publicly available sources, detect emerging events in near real-time, and distribute alerts via email, web-based applications, and mobile platforms, with a focus on force protection and global event monitoring.
