About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior, through the Interior Business Center, is conducting market research on physical therapy and rehabilitation services to be delivered at the Stewart L. Udall Building in Washington, DC, with capability statements due June 3, 2026. No set-aside applies.
Services will be performed at 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240. DOI seeks evidence-based physical therapy providers capable of delivering musculoskeletal care (low back pain, neck pain, shoulder injuries, knee injuries, foot and ankle disorders, sports injuries, postoperative rehabilitation) through a low-volume, high-attention individualized model. Desired specialized capabilities include manual therapy, Graston Technique, trigger point dry needling, and optional services such as massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. Providers must accept Federal Employee Health Benefit plans and FSA/HSA program participation.
Two vacant clinic spaces are available (777 square feet and 836 square feet), with potential access to the Interior Department Recreation Association gymnasium. Facility usage charges may apply. Vendors should identify space, equipment, and build-out requirements in proposals and specify responsibility for modifications.
Interested providers must submit advance questions by May 13, 2026 and register with company name, address, number of attendees, and attendee names to Mandy Ashmore (mandy_ashmore@ibc.doi.gov). The originally scheduled Industry Day of May 20, 2026 at 10 AM ET will not be held; a rescheduled date will be announced. Capability statements (maximum five pages, PDF) must address company profile, clinical and service capabilities with certifications and licenses, staffing model and clinic hours, space and equipment requirements with build-out responsibility, insurance compliance, operational readiness timeline, and value-added services or constraints.
