About this opportunity

This Special Notice announces an Industry Day conference hosted by the Air Force Materiel Command to support the Air Route Surveillance Radar Version 4 Replacement-Hawaii (ARSR4R-HI) acquisition program. The conference will take place on November 28-29, 2023 at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts to provide industry an opportunity to exchange information with the government regarding the program.

The Industry Day will include an unclassified briefing on November 28th and individual meetings that day and the 29th for qualified companies to discuss efforts, concerns, future activities and areas of mutual interest related to replacing the aging ARSR-4 radar system in Hawaii. Companies interested in participating in one-on-one sessions on November 28th must register by November 20th and indicate if they meet the prime contractor requirements as a US-based company able to receive Secret No Foreign data. The acquisition will proceed in two phases, with the first being a competitive prototype demonstration by two vendors and the second involving rapid prototyping, testing and installation by a single downselected contractor to provide air traffic surveillance and missile defense capabilities.
