About this opportunity

The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), an agency within the Department of the Interior, has issued a Special Notice seeking information from vendors regarding the level of effort required to develop the Incident and Investigation Information Management System (I3MS) using Oracle APEX technology. The I3MS is a web-based application that will enable external industry users and internal BSEE/BOEM users to submit, search, view, edit, and review incident and oil spill follow-up information reports.

The purpose of this Special Notice is to gather information from vendors on the development of the I3MS system, which will modernize the existing incident reporting and investigation management capabilities. The due date for responses is June 21, 2024. There are no set-aside requirements, and the Special Notice is open to all interested vendors. The documents provided outline the user stories, requirements, and workflow diagrams for the I3MS system, which will support BSEE's ability to manage incident data, investigation details, inspection reports, pollution and spill data, and investigation findings and dispositions across oil and gas, renewable energy, and oil spill incidents.
