About this opportunity
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice (SSN)/Request for Information (RFI) for the Integrated Continuity Communications Transport (ICCT) Point-to-Point Carrier Project. The objective is to identify businesses capable of providing engineering support, implementation, integration, and maintenance for nine 10-Gbps network circuits connecting the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center to remote FEMA/DHS locations. The circuits must be physically and logically separated from existing primary circuit paths and the public internet to improve continuity communications resilience and meet federal policy requirements. Respondents should provide information on labor categories, contract types, cost estimates, and capability statements, which the government will use to finalize requirements and the acquisition strategy.
This is not a set-aside procurement. The related NAICS code is 517810 - All other telecommunications. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or current contractors. The period of performance is a base year with three option years, but the government has not provided any details on potential award values or budget ranges. The due date for responses to this SSN/RFI is April 30, 2024.
