About this opportunity
The Department of State seeks qualified distributors to supply HVAC air filters to the U.S. Consulate General in Hermosillo, with proposals due July 23. This is an unrestricted procurement open to all vendors globally.
The solicitation requires 142 units of 4"V configuration MERV 13/13A filters at 24"x24", 12 units of 4"V configuration MERV 13/13A filters at 20"x24", 96 units of compact box-type MERV 11 filters at 24"x24"x4", and 64 units of compact box-type MERV 11 filters at 24"x20"x4". Place of performance is Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Delivery is required within 30 days of purchase order receipt as a single shipment with no partial deliveries accepted.
Proposals must include comprehensive technical data: manufacturer/brand, MERV rating, initial pressure drop and final pressure drop at 2000 FPM, media type and square footage, maximum constant operating temperature, energy saving grade (ePM1 value prioritized), frame construction, pressure drop curve, minimum particle size efficiency curve, total shipment weight, and total volume. Failure to provide all required technical specifications renders the proposal non-responsive with no further consideration.
For Mexican vendors, delivery is to the Consulate in Hermosillo. U.S. and international vendors should deliver directly to Hermosillo with transportation and customs costs inclusive of the bid, or alternatively to Brownsville, Texas; the government will add estimated transportation and customs costs to bids from Brownsville for LPTA evaluation purposes. The contract will be firm-fixed-price and awarded to the lowest-price technically acceptable proposal, potentially without discussions. All vendors must register in SAM prior to submission. Questions are due July 14, with answers posted July 16. NAICS code 423730; PSC code 2940.
