The contract structure consists of one 30-month base period followed by one 30-month option period, with a minimum task order charge of YEN 240,000 (except for certain service categories). The ordering history from March 2023 through June 2024 documents 31 waste shipment transactions processed through the previous contract, reflecting recurring disposal needs for batteries, corrosive compounds, flammable materials, and other hazardous waste streams typical of military facility operations. Primary pickup locations include Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Kawakami Ammunition Depot, Akizuki Ammunition Depot, and Hiro Ammunition Depot. The draft price schedule identifies numerous contract line items covering waste characterization, industrial cleaning services, expedited performance options, and disposal/recycling services for specific waste categories, though actual pricing has not yet been populated. Interested contractors should contact Timothy.Hassett@dla.mil to express interest or address concerns regarding subcontracting limitations.
