The contractor will be responsible for packaging, removing, and properly disposing of approximately 20 different types of hazardous waste from the park's maintenance warehouse in El Portal, California, including mixed batteries, propane cylinders, lead waste, petroleum products, and various chemical labpacks. All work must comply with federal, state, and local regulations for proper segregation, packaging, labeling, documentation, transportation, and disposal. The government will evaluate offers based on three factors: price, technical capability, and past performance, with the intent to award a single firm fixed-price contract to the most advantageous offeror. Following Amendment 0001, quotes are due by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on July 30, 2025, with questions accepted until July 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time via email to the contracting officer.

This procurement is designated as a 100% total small business set-aside under NAICS code 562112 (Hazardous Waste Collection), with qualifying businesses limited to those with average annual receipts under $47.0 million. No incumbent contractor or current service provider is identified in the solicitation documents. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the procurement falls under the small business size standard threshold and involves collecting hazardous materials from a single location at the park's maintenance facility. The period of performance is scheduled from August 1, 2025 to August 15, 2025, with collection activities restricted to 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The place of performance is located at 5512 Foresta Road, El Portal, California 95318, with notable logistical constraints including vehicle length restrictions of 45 feet and one-way controlled traffic 20 miles east of Mariposa due to ongoing rockslide repairs.
