About this file
Attachment 3 is a Q&A document for a hazardous waste collection and removal solicitation for Yosemite National Park (Solicitation #14P8525Q0059). The document provides detailed clarifications about waste streams, including mixed batteries (lithium, lead-acid, alkaline), propane cylinders, oxygen cylinders, lead waste (paint chips), mace (animal repellant), POL products (used motor oil and diesel), and diesel-contaminated soil. The government is seeking a lump sum quote, with a preference for a total small business set-aside, and accompanying photos show the various waste containers and materials to be collected and disposed.
The solicitation requires an emailed quote due by 5:00 PM Pacific Time on July 30, 2025, with questions accepted until July 22, 2025. The contract will be awarded based on price, technical capability, and past performance, with a small business size standard of $47.0 million in average annual receipts under NAICS code 562112. The National Park Service will evaluate offers to select the most advantageous quote, with the intention of awarding a single firm fixed-price contract for hazardous waste collection and disposal services at Yosemite National Park.
