About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for maintenance services of video teleconferencing (VTC) and audio/visual (A/V) systems at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining systems in two specific conference rooms: room 149 in building 1624 at 5 Eglin Street and room 120 in building 1630 at 75 Vandenberg Drive. Key requirements include ensuring system functionality, replacing parts as needed, performing general maintenance, providing on-call and on-site support, and training users on replacement equipment. The contract will be evaluated using the lowest-priced technically acceptable (LPTA) criteria, meaning the government will select the technically compliant offeror with the lowest price. Important dates include a site visit scheduled for 0930 EST on August 6, 2025, questions due by 1630 EST on August 8, 2025, and proposal submissions due by 1630 EST on August 21, 2025, with offers remaining valid for 90 days.
This opportunity is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 517810 (All Other Telecommunications) with a size standard of less than $40 million in annual revenue. The procurement consolidates two previously separate contracts that were held by NASI-Pragmatics JV LLC for Building 1630 and Pragmatics, Inc. for Building 1624. The contract structure includes a base year running from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, followed by four one-year option periods extending through August 31, 2030, plus an additional option to extend services until March 31, 2031. Performance will take place at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts, specifically at the two designated conference room locations. No hardware is currently under warranty, and any replacement equipment will be procured through a Pre-Priced Item List catalog, while proprietary uncompiled code remains with Freeport and/or the incumbent contractor.
