The opportunity was posted on September 2, 2025, with a due date of September 3, 2025. However, the notice explicitly states that proposals are not being accepted in response to this document, as it constitutes a notice of intent for sole source procurement rather than a competitive solicitation.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designation and is classified under NAICS code 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) with PSC code H999. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price arrangement to BioMerieux Inc. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) for single source solicitation. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is 1,000 employees, though this appears to be a large business procurement.
