About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 is seeking a contractor to provide, install, monitor, maintain, and repair/replace a critical water system capable of producing water that meets AAMI ST108 standards for use in the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) departments at the Topeka and Leavenworth, Kansas VA facilities. The contractor will be required to conduct monthly water sample testing, provide quarterly compliance reports, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair services. Proposals will be evaluated based on the contractor's ability to meet the technical requirements, including the need for a sand pre-filter at the Topeka site due to differing incoming water quality. The solicitation has a due date of November 27, 2024, and site visits are scheduled for November 21, 2024.

This procurement is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). The incumbent contractor is AmeriWater. The contract has a guaranteed minimum value of $10,000 and a total ceiling value of $800,000 over the five-year period of performance, which will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract.
