Contractors must deliver crude glycerin in bulk form to one of three 5,000-gallon storage tanks and guarantee delivery within 7 calendar days of task order receipt, with deliveries scheduled between 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Award will be made on the basis of lowest evaluated price for proposals meeting acceptability standards for non-cost factors, specifically technical requirement conformance and past performance. The maximum projected usage is 193,100 gallons annually (approximately 15,500 gallons per month), though the USIBWC has no obligation to purchase any set minimum amount. Crude glycerin must meet specific parameters including a minimum 70% glycerol content, maximum 8% ash content, and maximum 5% fat content, with pricing adjustments based on glycerol content verification. The place of performance is the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, Arizona 85648.
