This procurement falls under NAICS code 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing and will be conducted as a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items guidelines. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, the government has indicated it will consider all responses from interested parties. The primary objective of this Special Notice is to inform the contracting community of NMRC's intention to sole source repair services for specialized analytical equipment while maintaining openness to potential alternatives. Contractors have until September 9, 2025, to respond if they wish to be considered for this opportunity. All potential contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and possess a Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) to be eligible for award consideration.
