About this opportunity

The 718th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron under the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces is soliciting firm-fixed-price contract services for quarterly and annual preventative maintenance on four Kawasaki utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) located at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. The solicitation (FA527026Q0004) requires offerors to provide all parts, labor, materials, and necessary personnel to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs in accordance with the detailed Performance Work Statement. Qualified contractors must demonstrate technical capability through a brief description of their company's experience repairing vehicles or similar equipment and must submit firm-fixed pricing for both the one-year base period and all four one-year option periods. The Government will award the contract using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criterion, with the total contract value calculated as the sum of the base year plus all option years combined. The revised deadline for quotation submission is March 20, 2026 at 12:00 hours, with quotations to be emailed to SrA Austin Robey and 2d Lt. Brandon Campbell; an amendment issued on March 17, 2026 extended the original March 19 deadline to allow vendors additional time to prepare responses.

This procurement carries no set-aside designation and represents an unrestricted acquisition with no identified incumbent contractor. The contract encompasses maintenance services for four specific vehicles: two MULE PRO-FXT 1000 models and two KAT models (one KAT1000A and one KAT820B), with quarterly servicing occurring in March, June, September, and December and annual maintenance performed in conjunction with scheduled quarterly work. The base contract period runs from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027, with four one-year option periods extending through March 31, 2031, providing potential for a maximum five-year performance timeline. Work must be performed Monday through Friday between 0800 and 1600 hours at Kadena Air Base in Higashi, Okinawa, with possible multiple service locations on base requiring coordination. Contractors must obtain required security clearances and identification badges, provide proof of Japanese Compulsory Insurance (JCI) compliance, and ensure all work conforms to OSHA 2206 standards and Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS).
