This requirement 15B50227Q00000011 for Potable Water Sampling services has been deemed as an excepted activity in the DOJ / BOP contingency based on the urgency and critical nature of this requirement, this procurement is deemed legally authorized and operationally necessary under the exceptions to the Anti-Deficiency Act (31 USC 1341(a)(1)(B)). It supports an excepted function essential to the protection of human life. No payment will be made until funds are available. The contracting officer will notify the contractor once funds are available.
