This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS code 333994 (Industrial Process Furnace and Oven Manufacturing) with a size standard of 500 employees, meaning only qualifying small businesses may submit quotes. The contract will be a firm-fixed price agreement with delivery required within 20 weeks of award and complete installation within 4 weeks of delivery. The furnace will be delivered and installed at the secure aircraft hangar location at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, California, where it will be used primarily for heat treating aluminum and occasionally steel parts to prevent repair delays for aircraft maintenance.
