About this opportunity
The U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, operating under the Department of State, is seeking maintenance services for its Fuel Management System. The procurement falls under NAICS code 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC code J091 (Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment – Fuels, Lubricants, Oils, and Waxes). All responsible sources are eligible to submit quotations, and the Government reserves the right to award the contract based on initial offers without discussion. A critical requirement is that offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database with an active account at the time of proposal submission; failure to comply will result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. The solicitation is not yet available on SAM.gov as of the posting date of April 10, 2026, and will be launched when ready.
This contract will be structured as a firm fixed-price agreement with a base year of performance and four one-year option periods available if exercised by the Government. No set-aside designations apply to this opportunity. The pre-solicitation notice does not specify an anticipated award value or detailed budget range. Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to register in SAM immediately to ensure readiness for submission when the formal solicitation is issued. The official response deadline is May 27, 2026, providing potential offerors with approximately six weeks from the pre-solicitation posting to prepare and submit their proposals once the solicitation becomes available on SAM.gov.
