About this opportunity
The Department of the Army New York Army National Guard seeks removal and replacement of a water tank on a 2012 International SF625 fire truck at Stratton Air National Guard Base, with quotes due August 26 at 12:00 PM. The procurement is set aside for economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSB).
Place of performance is Schenectady, New York, at the contractor's facility within a 25-mile radius of Stratton Air National Guard Base. The contractor must remove the existing water tank, install a new 4,000-gallon poly water tank (FMS UPF or equivalent), transfer functional lighting and dump valves from the old tank, install rear doors and hinges, convert the ladder and folding tank storage configuration from vertical to horizontal mount, and paint the tank to match Fire Engine Red #71528 and White #17875. The contractor supplies and installs lettering and decals as specified and conducts quality assurance testing to ensure no leaks and operational readiness. Performance period is 30 calendar days from receipt of the vehicle. The government furnishes transportation to the contractor's facility but will not drive the apparatus beyond a 25-mile radius from Stratton.
NAICS code is 811121, Automotive Body, Paint, and Interior Repair and Maintenance; PSC is J012, Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment—Fire Control Equipment. This is a firm fixed-price contract. Evaluation criteria are price, technical capability demonstrated through similar project experience, and past performance. Contact 109.AW.FAL.MSC.Contracting@us.af.mil with questions and quotes.
