About this file
This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the removal and replacement of a water tank on a 2012 International SF625 fire truck located at the 109th Airlift Wing, Stratton Air National Guard Base in Scotia, New York. The Contractor shall remove the existing water tank and install a new 4000-gallon poly water tank (FMS UPF or equivalent) while transferring functional lighting and dump valves from the old tank to the new one. Additional work includes installing rear doors, hinges, and latches; converting the ladder and folding tank storage configuration from vertical to horizontal mount; and painting the tank to match the existing apparatus in Fire Engine Red #71528 and White #17875. The Contractor is responsible for all transportation to and from the body shop, supplying and installing lettering and decals as specified by the Government representative, and conducting quality assurance testing to ensure no leaks and operational readiness of all transferred and newly installed components.
The deliverable is one operational fire apparatus with the fully modified and painted 4000-gallon tank, due 30 days after receipt of the vehicle. Work shall be performed at the Contractor's facility located within a 25-mile radius of Stratton Air National Guard Base, as the Government will provide transportation but is unwilling to drive the apparatus beyond that distance.
