About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center has issued a Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR) for the remanufacture of F108 Module 13/15 and Module 14 Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) assemblies to support both United States Air Force and Navy aircraft propulsion systems. This Special Notice, posted on February 10, 2026, with an amendment issued on February 12, 2026, solicits pricing proposals under solicitation FA8122-26-R-0007 for remanufacturing services that will restore turbine components to original life expectancy specifications. The notice includes a correction to the National Stock Number for LPT Stage 1 Blades (CLIN 0001AB), which was clarified from an initially incorrect NSN to 2840-01-466-7430. This solicitation is part of a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MAC IDIQ) contract structure, with proposals due by March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
The primary objective of this FOPR is to establish delivery orders among multiple qualified contractors for the remanufacture of four F108 Module 13/15 LPT assemblies and 420 LPT Stage 1 blades, with a requested delivery schedule of 12 units every 30 calendar days following receipt of order or assets. Only government-approved sources listed on the AFMC Form 762 Contract Repair Screening Analysis Worksheet (CRSAW) are eligible to submit proposals, and all offerors must be qualified sources for each specified National Stock Number. Contractors must operate from a Federal Aviation Administration Part 145 facility rated for CFM56-2A and CFM56-2B engine components and maintain ISO 9001:2015/ANSI/ASQC Q92 or AS9100 quality management systems. The Government intends to split awards among multiple qualified offerors on a firm fixed-price basis, with award notification expected by March 31, 2026, and proposal prices remaining valid for a minimum of 90 days from the closing date. Offerors must complete a detailed pricing matrix specifying unit prices rounded to two decimal places and may submit additional rationale supporting their pricing proposals as an optional attachment.
