About this opportunity

This is a sources sought notice designed to identify interested contractors for a Multiple Award IDIQ contract. The services must comply with the International Fire Code, referenced National Fire Protection Association standards, and NPS policies, particularly RM 58: Structural Fire Management. The NPS is responsible for maintaining fire protection systems in over 27,000 structures across more than 430 parks, with each park responsible for ensuring ITM is completed and systems function properly for early fire notification and suppression. The Contracting Officer requires only four specific items from interested vendors: a Company Capability Statement, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), contact name and email address, and company size information. The responses to this sources sought notice are due by February 16, 2026.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, restricting competition to small businesses as classified by the Small Business Administration. The NAICS code is 541350 (Building Inspection Services), and the PSC code is H312 (Inspection–Fire Control Equipment). While this pre-solicitation notice does not provide specific award values or budget ranges, the five-year IDIQ structure suggests a long-term commitment with potentially significant total contract value given the scope of work across the entire NPS portfolio. No incumbent contractors are named in this notice, as it represents an open competition for establishing the initial contract vehicle. The indefinite quantity nature of the contract means that actual task orders and funding will be determined as individual parks submit their ITM requirements throughout the contract period.
