About this opportunity
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is procuring a comprehensive audiovisual system solution to replace an existing end-of-life video switcher system in their Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in Atlanta. The project requires implementation of a high-performance, scalable, and redundant Crestron AV switching system (or equivalent) that supports 4K60 4:4:4 resolution with HDCP 2.3 compliance and zero-latency signal processing to ensure uninterrupted audiovisual functionality for real-time communication and operational continuity. Contractors must be Atlanta Metro-based integration companies with staff certified in specific technology specialties, including a Gold Crestron Master Programmer, and must provide comprehensive installation, training, and documentation services. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical approach, management plan, similar experience, past performance, and price, with technical factors weighted approximately equally with price. The solicitation deadline is September 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time, and this procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside under NAICS code 334310 (Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees. No incumbent contractors are specifically mentioned in the solicitation documents. The contract structure includes a 6-month base period of performance with an optional additional 6-month extension period, to be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The CDC anticipates awarding one contract from this solicitation, though no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available documentation. Performance will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, with the contractor required to remove obsolete equipment, install new network-integrated AV infrastructure, and provide on-site programming and training services at the CDC Emergency Operations Center.
