About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command is seeking Enterprise Level Logistics and Engineering Technical Support Services (LOGEN II) through a draft Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation aims to establish a contract for Fleet Command Readiness Center Fleet Support Teams, providing comprehensive logistics and engineering technical support services. Currently, the government is in a pre-solicitation phase, requesting industry feedback on the draft RFP documents before releasing the final solicitation. Interested vendors are invited to submit comments and clarifications using the provided DRAFT RFP Question_Submittal Form, with responses due by 2 pm EST on April 25, 2025. The evaluation will likely include assessments of past performance, technical capabilities, and proposed labor categories, with the government indicating flexibility in refining requirements based on industry input.

The opportunity is set aside for total small business participation, targeting engineering services within the NAICS 541330 category. While specific award values are not explicitly stated, the government has demonstrated willingness to make adjustments such as updating the size standard to $47 million and modifying labor category requirements. The contract appears designed to support technical support services across multiple geographic locations, with potential for a multi-year performance period. Potential offerors should note that all costs associated with responding to the draft RFP will be at the respondent's expense, and the government is not currently seeking formal proposals. The solicitation suggests a comprehensive support contract that will require vendors to demonstrate expertise in logistics, engineering, and technical support for naval aviation systems.
