About this opportunity

The Food and Drug Administration's Office of Acquisition and Grant Services seeks a complete endoscopy system for the Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories and Division of Imaging, Diagnostics, and Surgical Products, with quotes due September 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET. This is a full and open competition (Amendment 0001, posted September 14, removed the prior small business set-aside).

Place of performance and delivery is Silver Spring, Maryland (10903 New Hampshire Ave, Building WO62-3133). Shipping is included in the total purchase price.

The system must comprise an FDA-cleared video processor, colonoscope, medical display, and cart, fully interoperable and functioning as an integrated unit. The video processor must be a 510(k)-cleared medical device with an integrated LED-based light source using three or more LEDs to synthesize different spectra. Required imaging modes include white light mode; two or more narrow-band imaging modes FDA-cleared for visualizing blood vessels and mucosal surfaces; and two or more digital color enhancement modes FDA-cleared under FDA product code "PEA." Video output must support 12G-SDI (3840x2160x60p), 3G-SDI (1920x1080x60p), and HD-SDI (1900x1080x60i), with capability to save still images in TIFF or JPEG format. The colonoscope must be FDA-cleared, forward-viewing, with 170-degree or wider field of view, 5–100mm depth of field, 180/180/160/160 degree angulation, 12.8mm or smaller insertion tube diameter, and 3.7mm or larger instrument channel. The medical display must be 4K (3840x2160 pixels), 32 inches or larger diagonal, with multiple input ports. All components operate on standard 120V, 60Hz U.S. power and include one-year comprehensive warranty. Award goes to the lowest priced technically acceptable quoter. Delivery is required within six weeks of contract award. Questions close September 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM ET. NAICS 423490; PSC 6640.
