About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 is conducting market research for the procurement of ultrasound transducers for the Harry S. Truman Veterans' Memorial Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, with responses due by August 24, 2026 at 11:00 AM Central Time.
The requirement addresses diagnostic and procedural capability gaps in the Endocrinology and Rheumatology clinics. The VA seeks two Philips ultrasound transducers: the L12-5 Transducer for endocrinology applications (5–12 MHz frequency range, broad bandwidth linear array, approximately 38mm field of view, Doppler and needle visualization modes) and the L15-7io Transducer for rheumatology applications (7–15 MHz frequency range, compact linear array with hockey stick design, high axial resolution optimized for joint procedures and procedural guidance). Both transducers must be compatible with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems. These transducers will support thyroid fine needle aspirations and joint injections.
No set-aside applies. Responses must include company information, UEI number, GSA contract details if applicable, a capability statement, product brochures with specifications, and an authorized distributor letter from the OEM. Respondents must be registered in SAM.gov and complete electronic representations and certifications; Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses must be SBA-verified. Contracting Officer Tywanna Sparks (tywanna.sparks@va.gov, 913-758-9928) is the point of contact. Solicitation number is 36C25526Q0594.
