About this opportunity
The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management Utah Region is soliciting quotations for materials to construct riparian fencing at Emma Park in Price, Utah. The procurement consists of fully peeled round wood poles for a three-pole buck and rail fence system, including 285 buck pairs, 947 twelve-foot horizontal poles, and 2,179 construction fasteners (a combination of #17 CTX 6-inch and 8-inch T40 screws). This is a firm fixed-price supplies contract that will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach, requiring full conformance to material specifications, wood treatment standards, and hardware compatibility as detailed in the revised specification attachment. The original solicitation closing date of March 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time was extended to March 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time through Amendment No. 0001, which also incorporated revised material specifications and a compiled Questions and Answers document. All questions regarding the solicitation were required to be submitted by March 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time, and all offerors must acknowledge receipt of the amendment prior to the submission deadline.
This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement with no incumbent contractor identified in the solicitation documents. The estimated total cost for the project is approximately $435,695.40, though the bid schedule contains data errors that contractors should clarify with the contracting officer before submitting proposals. Delivery of all materials must occur within 90 days after receipt of order to the BLM's Price Field Office located at 125 South 600 West, Price, Utah 84501. Contractors are required to provide 24-hour advance notice before delivery and must deliver during Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Mountain Time via the North Gate entry. Quotations must remain valid for a minimum of 60 days, respondents must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to solicitation closing, and all federal representations and certifications, including Buy American requirements and small business certifications, are incorporated by reference.
