About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 140L5726Q0011 – Emma Park Riparian Fencing, with a closing date of March 05.

The solicitation requires delivery of fencing materials to the BLM's Price Field Office in Price, Utah (125 S 600 W, Price, UT 84501) within 90 days after receipt of order. The contractor must supply peeled wood rails at 12 feet in length (changed from the original 13-foot requirement), along with 285 cross pieces measuring a minimum of 2 inches and 4 feet in length. Notching of bucks is acceptable but not required. Wood species selection does not influence bid acceptance unless the species is considered a weed. This is a supplies-only requirement; the BLM will handle all installation. The BLM maintains a forklift at the office for unloading but requests a couple days' notice to ensure availability. Contractors should provide advance notice before delivery to coordinate unloading operations.
