About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard seeks electronic security systems upgrades at USCG Station Bodega Bay, with proposals due September 4, 2026. The procurement is a total small business set-aside.
Place of performance is Bodega Bay, California. The requirement is a turn-key replacement of legacy video surveillance and physical access control systems, comprising site survey and security plan development, procurement and verification of materials, decommissioning of existing equipment with NIST SP 800-88 data sanitization, installation and commissioning with system acceptance testing (including FICAM and vulnerability validation), and operator training. All tasks must be completed within 14 calendar days of commencement. The NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths); PSC code is N063, Installation of Equipment–Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. The system must include approximately eight external cameras (one with high-zoom PTZ capability) with 30-day onsite video retention, and seven PIV card readers across three buildings with FIPS 201 compliance and 30-day access history retention. All components must appear on the GSA Approved Products List and be compatible with Base Alameda's ESS architecture. The contractor must provide a qualified Project Manager with minimum five years of federal contract experience and a Lead Certified Technician with five years of ESS installation and three years of FIPS 201-compliant PACS experience for federal agencies. All contractor personnel require Tier 2 or Tier 4 background investigations and cybersecurity awareness training prior to system or CUI access.
An organized site visit is scheduled for August 20, 2026 at 1100 AM PDT.
