About this opportunity
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking to award a fixed-price, firm-fixed-unit-price contract for toilet pumping and cleaning services at various recreation sites throughout the Eldorado National Forest. The contract requires the pumping and removal of all effluent and trash from toilet vault facilities, as well as cleaning up any spilled materials inside and surrounding the toilet buildings. Key requirements include using California-compliant pumping trucks of at least 2,000-gallon capacity, proper disposal of waste, and courteous interactions with the public. Services are to be provided on a "call-when-needed" basis, with the contractor expected to typically complete work within 7 days of receiving an order. Proposals will be evaluated on factors including pricing, relevant experience, and past performance to determine the best value.
This solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 562991 Septic Tank and Related Services. The government anticipates awarding a one-year base contract with four one-year option periods. The estimated quantities are based on historic usage, but the total services and dollar value may vary. The place of performance is the Eldorado National Forest in California.
