About this opportunity
This presolicitation notice is for an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to provide aerospace ground equipment maintenance services at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. Services include dispatching, servicing, inspecting, cleaning, corrosion control, and maintenance of powered and non-powered aerospace ground equipment, munitions material handling trailers and components, and other equipment. Additional requirements include AGE familiarization training, operation of an ultra-high pressure water blast system and paint booth, management of the flightline waste fluids program and hazardous material issue point, and support to customers under agreements. The solicitation is expected to issue on or around November 20, 2022 with proposals due as specified within the solicitation. This will be conducted by the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center and Services Management Office.
This acquisition will be a competitive 100% (8a) small business set-aside with a North American Industry Classification System code of 488190 and small business size standard of $35 million. The indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract has no defined period of performance or minimum/maximum ordering requirements. This is a presolicitation notice for the Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), and Services Management Office (PZZC) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a single award indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for services in support of the Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Maintenance. These services include dispatching, servicing, inspecting, cleaning, corrosion control, modification and maintenance of powered/non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), munitions material handling trailers/components, and equipment other than AGE. In addition, the service provider shall provide AGE familiarization training, operate an Aqua-Miser E-75 Ultra High Pressure Water Blast System, operate a paint booth, manage the flightline waste fluids program and manage a hazardous material issue point. The service provider shall also provide support to 96 Test Wing customers maintained under support agreements.
This acquisition will be a competitive 100% (8a) small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 488190 with a small business standard size of $35M.
The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 20 Nov 22. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. A copy of the Performance Work Statement has been included in this notice in order for prospective offerors to familiarize themselves with the requirement.
This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
