About this opportunity

The Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) is conducting market research to identify interested and capable vendors to provide database and infrastructure contractor support services for the DTMO's travel data repository, known as the Commercial Travel Information Management (CTIM) system. The CTIM consolidates travel data from over 20 sources to enable data-driven decision making and management of the DoD Travel Enterprise. The key contract requirements include providing database management, data integration, data quality control, and business intelligence support for the CTIM system. Interested parties will need to demonstrate experience with global distribution systems, IT/security, travel processes, data quality, and data infrastructure management.

This requirement will be awarded on a sole source basis by the Defense Human Resources Activity. There is no set-aside designation, and the government is not disclosing any potential incumbent contractors or budget/award value information. The deadline for submitting capability statements in response to this Sources Sought notice is July 17, 2024, which will help the government determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, which could include an 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, or WOSB set-aside, or full and open competition.
