About this opportunity
The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service is seeking information from prospective vendors interested in providing dog food for the National Stock Number (NSN) Program. This is a request for information (RFI) and sources sought notice, which may result in the establishment of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under the GSA Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program. The BPA will be a fixed-price contract with consideration for economic price adjustments. Interested contractors are requested to submit a Sources Sought Questionnaire by November 13, 2024, providing details on their product availability, production capacity, delivery timelines, pricing, and ability to comply with shipping requirements. The government will use the responses to determine any set-aside requirements, and the anticipated Request for Quote (RFQ) will evaluate technical characteristics and past performance.
This procurement does not currently have a set-aside designation, and all interested firms are invited to respond to the RFI. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 311111 - Dog and Cat Food Manufacturing. The government has not identified any potential incumbents or provided budget ranges, but the BPA will be awarded against the successful vendor's existing GSA schedule contract. The estimated quantity and timeline for services were not specified in the pre-solicitation notice.
