About this opportunity
The Department of State Office of Acquisition Management is conducting market research through a Request for Information on Digital Forensics Equipment, with responses due by November 13, 2026. No set-aside is anticipated. This RFI is solely for information-gathering to identify vendors capable of delivering complete digital forensics solutions and to inform future procurement strategy, requirements finalization, contract type selection, and socioeconomic program considerations. The Government explicitly states this RFI does not constitute a Request for Quotation, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Proposal; does not commit to future procurement; and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents will not be reimbursed for information or administrative costs, and submissions will not be returned. Non-response does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. Access to RFI documents requires execution of a Restricted Access Request form (RAR Form 19AQMM26N0006), which vendors must download, sign, and email to the Contracting Officer (ModrakER@state.gov) while simultaneously requesting explicit access through SAM.gov. Vendors must have appropriate roles assigned within their SAM.gov entity registration to submit access requests; the Government point of contact cannot assist with role assignment, and the Contracting Officer will not distribute attachments via email.
