About this opportunity

Air Combat Command is conducting a sources-sought market research inquiry for repair or replacement of a power divider assembly on a 2008 P-19 Oshkosh 1,500-gallon Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle, with responses due by August 6, 2026. This is not a commitment to solicit or award; no reimbursement is offered for response costs.

The work is performed at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, and involves complete removal, teardown, inspection, and repair or replacement of the power divider assembly (Part Number 3811870, Serial Number 10TBKAK168S104292) to Original Equipment Manufacturer standards using genuine OEM parts. A critical internal failure was identified during routine maintenance, including substantial metallic shavings in the system fluid and fragmented spring assemblies, necessitating restoration to prevent catastrophic system failure and restore full-mission-capable status.

Contractor scope includes flatbed transportation to pick up the vehicle from Moody AFB and return it upon completion, comprehensive system inspection for cracks and gear damage, resealing with OEM-recommended sealants, torquing all fasteners to OEM specifications, body panel alignment, hose routing and pressure testing, electrical harness routing with functionality verification, and post-repair operational testing to OEM standards. The contractor must provide a 12-month comprehensive warranty covering all parts and labor, with warranty claims completed within ten working days, and provide lead time status updates on parts availability and repair progress.
