About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, on behalf of the Bakersfield VA Clinic, is seeking information on qualified contractors capable of providing one corneal topography unit to support the clinic's eye care services. Contractors must submit responses by April 1, 2026, to Erica Perry, Contract Specialist at the Regional Procurement Office West, via email at erica.perry-johnson@va.gov. Responses should include company information (name, phone, DUNS, CAGE Code, points of contact, and website), applicable GSA contract numbers, socioeconomic status, detailed descriptions of company capabilities and prior experience with similar equipment, teaming or subcontracting arrangements, and country of origin information pursuant to Buy American requirements. This is a Sources Sought (SS) notice only for planning and information purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quote or a commitment to contract; the government is not accepting unsolicited quotes at this time and will not reimburse respondents for costs incurred in responding.

The equipment must measure 16"D x 11"W x 20"H and include all standard software modules plus optional modules such as a 21.5" all-in-one computer with Windows, DICOM interface, refractive and cataract packages, and optical densitometry capabilities. No set-aside designation has been applied to this procurement. The notice does not specify an award value or budget range, nor does it identify any incumbent contractors.
