The RFI emphasizes that this is an expression of interest only and does not constitute a formal solicitation or commitment by the Government to make an award; responses will not be evaluated against formal criteria, and the Government will not pay for response preparation costs. Interested parties must submit their information to Micherie Dougherty at Micherie.Dougherty@dla.mil no later than 3:00 P.M. local Fort Belvoir, Virginia time on March 19, 2026, with questions directed to the same contact or (445) 737-1305.
No set-aside designation has been applied to this opportunity. The anticipated contract structure includes a firm fixed price award for a four-year base period with three one-year option periods, with an estimated period of performance beginning January 21, 2027. The estimated daily fuel throughput is 650,000 gallons of U.S. Government-owned fuel, representing a significant operational scope. While no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in this RFI, the substantial daily throughput volume and extended contract duration indicate a substantial procurement. This RFI represents the preliminary stage of the acquisition process, with a formal solicitation expected to follow based on responses received and agency evaluation of industry capabilities.
