About this opportunity
The Department of State's U.S. Embassy in Belize is soliciting quotations for computing equipment and accessories through RFQ 19BH2025Q0019. The procurement includes 11 Dell Latitude 5520 laptops with specific configurations featuring Intel Core i7-1185 G7 processors, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Professional, and privacy screens, along with 2 Dell PowerEdge R660xs servers and various accessories such as tripods, surge suppressors, USB mice, powered USB hubs, cables, and a Pelican case. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and provide export control documentation to comply with federal regulations. The government intends to award to the responsible company submitting the lowest-priced acceptable offer, potentially without discussions, though discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary. Electronic quotations must be submitted to Belmopanprocurement@state.gov by August 29, 2025, with delivery required by September 16, 2025.
This solicitation does not utilize any set-aside designation and is open to all qualified vendors. No incumbent contractors or potential award values are specified in the documentation. The procurement requires delivery of 11 laptops, 2 servers, and multiple supporting accessories to the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan, Belize, with specific delivery hour restrictions of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday. The place of performance is Belmopan, Belize, where all equipment must be delivered to the embassy location. Amendment P0001 was issued on August 25, 2025, providing additional clarification on the technical specifications and deliverables, while a Q&A document addressed operating system preferences and confirmed the embassy's exemption from import duties.
